Software Advice recently released a report that details leaders in Construction Project Management software. The report pins software companies against each other, and scores them based on their project management capabilities. To be considered for the Construction Project Management FrontRunners, a software needed a minimum capability user rating score of 3.0 and a minimum value user rating score of 3.0. All products that qualify as FrontRunners are the top performing software within their market.
- The Upper Right quadrant represents products that are Leaders in the their industry, meaning they offer the highest value and capability in that market.
- The Upper Left quadrant represents Masters. Masters may provide less capabilities, but end users identify these business as the best performing project management products compared to the rest.
- The Lower Right quadrant represents Pacesetters. This group offers a strong set of capabilities, but are not are not as highly rated on value.
- The Lower Left quadrant represents Contenders. These are strong-performing products, but do not provide as much value and capability compared to products in other quadrants.
A small list of products make up the Master quadrant including, Aconex, Primvera P6 and BuilderTREND. A much larger number of companies lie in the Leader quadrant, with notable names including Jonas Premier, Jonas Enterprise, Procore, ComputerEASE and Sage.
